Dr. Oleson has served as our Vice President, Non-Clinical Development since July 2000. From November 1997 to July 2000, he served as our Vice President, Drug Development. Prior to joining us, Dr. Oleson was an independent consultant from June 1997 to November 1997. From January 1997 to June 1997, Dr. Oleson served as Director of Preclinical Research at Autoimmune, Inc., a biotechnology company. From 1992 to January 1997, Dr. Oleson served as Director, Toxicology and Preclinical Pharmacology at Biogen, Inc., a biotechnology company. Dr. Oleson also held various positions at Bristol Myers Squibb from 1983 to 1992, including Director, Investigative Toxicology from 1990-1992 . Dr. Oleson was a key contributor in the development of the Biogen drug Avonex and a key consultant in the development of Angiomax for The Medicines Company. Dr. Oleson received his B.S. in Biochemistry from Princeton University and a M.S. and D.Sc. in Physiology/ Radiation Biology from Harvard University School of Public Health. |
