Frederick J. Crawford is chief financial officer of Lincoln Financial Group. Crawford joined Lincoln Financial Group in January 2001 as vice president and treasurer, responsible for Lincoln�s banking relationships, capital raising and structure initiatives, and rating agency relationships. Prior to joining Lincoln, Crawford served as president of Bank One-Cincinnati, overseeing 35 banking centers, 400 employees and approximately $1 billion in assets. In 1987, Crawford joined NBD Bank N.A. and held positions of increasing importance in the commercial banking division. Crawford joined the insurance specialty division as first vice president in 1995 as NBD Bank and First Chicago Corporation merged to form First Chicago NBD. Within this position, he managed a portfolio of large corporate insurance clients across an array of commercial and investment banking activities mostly in the Midwest for treasury management, risk management (derivatives), syndicated loan facilities and corporate finance products. Crawford earned a bachelor�s degree in business administration from Indiana State University and a master of business administration degree from the University of Iowa. |
