Frederick W. Bode, III is a shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. He concentrates his practice in the areas of Commercial Litigation, Products Liability, Health Care Litigation, and Technology matters. Mr. Bode is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before all of the Courts in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the United States District Courts for the Western, Middle, and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and Supreme Court of the United States. He is also a member of the Products Liability Advisory Council, the Defense Research Institute, and Pennsylvania Defense Institute. Mr. Bode graduated with Honors from Grove City College in 1977 with a B.A. in Economics and History. He received his J.D. from University of Akron (member of Bracton's Inn) in 1980. Mr. Bode is National Coordinating Counsel for two multinational corporations. Mr. Bode is a member of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and active in the Defense Research Institute (Products Liability Sub-Committee) and the Pennsylvania Defense Institute and is a former member of the Pittsburgh Legal Journal staff and the Allegheny County Bar Association Judiciary Committee. In addition, Mr. Bode is a frequent lecturer on Commercial Law and Health Care topics and has authored a chapter in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas Civil Practice Manual and in an orthopedic surgery text. Mr. Bode has experience litigating commercial matters in various courts and arbitration panels throughout the United States and has environmental experience including the defense of Superfund claims. |
