Frederick "Rick" Vogt practices in the areas of labor and employment law, and general commercial litigation, with his primary focus in the employment field. Rick advises and represents clients on a wide range of compliance and personnel issues, including wage and hour, ADA, FMLA, OSHA, privacy, drug testing, employee handbooks, discipline or termination matters, and represents employers in all facets of labor relations and issues arising under the National Labor Relations Act. He also represents clients in all phases of litigation, involving claims such as employment discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, and breach of contract, in state, federal, and appellate courts.Rick lectures regularly on labor and employment issues, and conducts client workplace training on a variety of topics, including harassment, diversity, workplace violence, wage and hour laws, union avoidance, investigations, leave laws, and disability and religious accommodation. He is a contributing editor to the BNA treatise The Developing Labor Law, and is a member of both the Minnesota State Bar Association and the American Bar Association sections of Litigation and Labor and Employment. |
