Gail Cooperman, a respected veteran of bankruptcy law, joined Forman Holt Eliades & Ravin in early 2004. Prior to that, Ms. Cooperman has served both the public interest as an attorney for the Office of the United States Trustee for the District of New Jersey and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation in Washington, DC, as well as representing private clients while affiliated with major law firms in New Jersey and Washington, DC. Ms. Cooperman has broad experience representing creditors and creditors' committees as well as representing chapter 7 and chapter 11 trustees.
Ms. Cooperman has earned a reputation as a fair minded practitioner capable of participating in some of the country's most sophisticated reorganization and liquidation proceedings. As a result of her public and private sector experience, she has participated in bankruptcy cases involving every major sector of the economy, including airlines, construction, steel, telecommunications, retail and restaurant cases. Ms. Cooperman's calm demeanor and keen intellect are the hallmark of her practice and serve her clients well in the ever changing landscape of bankruptcy.
