Renowned ceramic designer Gail Pittman has partnered with Southern Living At HOME since its launch in 2001, bringing her distinctive style to our pottery collections. As Creative Director, she works with marketing and product development to ensure that our product lines reflect industry trends and our customers' desires-all the while maintaining that special something that makes everything we produce truly Southern Living At HOME. To gain insights and inspiration, Gail travels far and wide, meeting with Southern Living At HOME Consultants throughout the country. Gail earned her degree in elementary education from the University of Mississippi but left teaching in the 1970s to stay home and raise her two children, Sonny and Natalie Gail. It was during that time that she began designing pottery, eventually developing a highly successful tabletop business. Gail has created unique projects commissioned by Oprah Winfrey, Katie Couric, and Donald Trump. Her pottery is offered at retail stores across the country, but her Southern Living At HOME collections are available only through our Independent Consultants. Gail and her husband, John, live in Ridgeland, Mississippi.
