Experience
Garret is a member of Wendel Rosen's litigation, construction, real estate, employment and technology practice groups. Prior to joining the firm, he worked for various firms in the Bay Area where he practiced in the areas of corporate law, construction, real estate, employment and litigation. He is experienced in all stages of litigation through trial, as well as appeal.
Garret has broad experience representing contractors in construction-related matters, including, bidding disputes, delay damages, latent defects, mechanics' liens, stop notices, and payment and performance bonds. He also has experience in a wide range of complex business-related disputes including shareholder derivative actions, partnership dissolutions and securities fraud.
Prior to practicing law, Garret worked as a lobbyist in Sacramento for the American Institute of Architects and in Washington, D.C. as a member of the joint legislative staff of the National Multi Housing Council and National Apartment Association.
