Dr. Garth Judge joined 8x8 in 2000 as a Software Engineer for the company's Netergy Microelectronics subsidiary in charge of the development of reference VoIP protocol stacks for Netergy's reference design platforms. Following that Judge became Firmware Development Manager at 8x8 overseeing all software/firmware development for the Packet8 telephone terminal adaptors and the DV326 videophone. From there he was promoted to the position of Director of Research & Development where in addition to managing firmware development he led the Packet8 Beta Network and Quality Assurance programs.
As Vice President of Research & Development Judge assumes responsibility for the development of new features and expansion of all current Packet8 communication platforms including the Packet8 residential voice and video services as well as the Packet8 Virtual Office service the company's flagship voice over IP services for consumers and small to medium-sized businesses. |
