As president and chief executive officer for La Petite Academy for the past five years, Gary has been responsible for one of the leading for-profit preschool educational facilities in the United States; La Petite has 650 locations generating more than $400 million each year. He saw his company's dedication to helping children and families as a natural fit for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Under Gary's leadership, La Petite has become a prominent national corporate sponsor. He became deeply committed to helping the Make-A-Wish Foundation more than 10 years ago after an illness touched his own family. Gary served as a board member for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Kansas and a board member and treasurer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois.
