Experience:
Gary Jungels is a transactional attorney and a partner in Mayer Brown�s Corporate & Securities Practice. He has substantial experience in fund formations and has represented more than 30 fund sponsors in structuring, negotiating and closing buyout, mezzanine/sub-debt, venture capital and other private equity funds and in structuring their management companies.
Gary has represented large and mid-size private equity funds and their sponsors, with transaction sizes ranging from several million dollars to more than $3 billion. In addition, he has represented bank-affiliated funds, SBIC-licensed funds and funds utilizing CDO/CLO structures. He also advises fund sponsors with respect to their portfolio investments, and he counsels investors regarding their investments in private funds.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown in 2006, Gary held senior positions with another prominent law firm in Chicago.
