Gary D. Newsome, Senior Vice President, Group Operations, manages hospitals in Illinois, Kentucky, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. He joined Community Health Systems as Vice President, Group Operations in February, 1998. He was a Divisional Vice President for Health Management Associates, Inc. in Midwest City, Oklahoma from January 1996 to February 1998. From January 1995 to January 1996, Mr. Newsome served as Assistant Vice President/Operations and Group Operations Vice President responsible for facilities of Health Management Associates, Inc. in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kentucky, and West Virginia. He is a graduate of Butler University with an MBA degree and has completed advanced studies at the University of Michigan School of Business. |
