Gary E. Holdren is the Chairman Chief Executive Officer and President of Huron Consulting Group. He along with other Andersen partners founded Huron in 2002. Under his leadership the Company has grown to over 1 200 people today.
Professional Experience
Consulting Magazine named Gary one of the Top 25 Most Influential Consultants in 2003 and 2005. In addition Consulting Magazine named Huron one of the best consulting firms to work for in 2006. Huron was named the fastest growing new business by Entrepreneur magazine in 2005 and again in 2006. Crain's Chicago Business ranked Huron No. 117 out of the 150 largest public companies in the Chicago area based on 2006 revenues. Most recently Huron ranked No. 22 on BusinessWeek's 2007 List of Hot 100 Growth Companies.
Huron and Gary are committed to community development. Gary is active with numerous organizations and sits on the Board of Trustees at the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago Lyric Opera of Chicago and the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. He is a member of the board at Children's Memorial Hospital the Association of Management Consulting Firms and the Economic Club of Chicago. He is also a member of the Advisory Board at Cowboy Dreams. Gary serves as a member of the Business Advisory Council for the Richard T. Farmer School of Business at Miami University - Ohio.
Under Gary's stewardship Huron Consulting Group is on the 2016 Chicago Olympic Organizing Committee and is active with many local and national community arts educational humanitarian medical research and health and wellness organizations including: American Cancer Society American Red Cross Boys and Girls Clubs Boys Scouts of America the Girl Scouts of America and Junior Achievement. |
