Altman has experiences as CEO and CSO. In 1999, he founded Hygeia, a biotech company, and licensed IP to TiboTec for a drug that is now JNJ�s Prezista� (darunavir), . That business transaction generated the funds to start Sequoia. Earlier, he left a position as CSO with a unit of Sara Lee Corporation, to become CEO of an industrial chemical company. In 1991 he became CEO of a financial services company which he ran for 12 years. During the period 1993-1998, he was a frequent guest on CNN�s Business News and Your Money. Altman teaches in the MBA program at Johns Hopkins, and is a member of the Economic Club of Washington. |
