Dr. Gary Foulks is the Arthur and Virginia Keeney Chair at theUniversity of Louisville School of Medicine in the Department ofOphthalmology and Vision Sciences. He is Director of the Cornea Serviceand is Medical Director of the Contact Lens Service. Previously he wasProfessor and Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology of theUniversity of Pittsburgh School of Medicine since 1996 and was alsoDirector of Clinical Research and the Cornea Service there. Before thishe was Professor of Ophthalmology at Duke University Eye Center wherehe directed the Cornea Service for 17 years. He was certified as aDiplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1977 and is aFellow of the American Academy of Ophthamology, receiving Honor andSenior Honor awards from that society. He is a member of theAssociation for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, the Contact LensAssociation of Ophthalmologists, the Castroviejo Cornea Society, theAmerican Eye Study Club, and the American College of Surgeons. |
