In 2001 Gary Hedrick was named President and Chief Executive Officer for El Paso Electric and elected to its Board of Directors. Hedrick joined EPE in 1977 as a Financial Accountant. He has since served in a variety of progressively more responsible positions at El Paso Electric including Treasurer Vice President - Financial Planning & Rate Administration Vice President Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer and Executive Vice President Chief Financial and Administrative Officer.
Hedrick is a native El Pasoan and a graduate of Eastwood High School. He received a Bachelor�s of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at El Paso in 1977 and went on to receive an Master�s of Business Administration degree from UTEP in 1982. Hedrick has also completed several management development programs at Harvard University. Hedrick serves on several boards within the community including Las Palmas Medical Center Chase Bank-El Paso El Paso Regional Economic Development Corporation and the El Paso Chamber of Commerce.
