An associate consultant for Noel-Levitz, Dr. Gary Biller has worked in higher education in a variety of positions for more than 26 years. His involvement has encompassed areas such as academic advising, orientation, psychological services, housing, Greek affairs, judicial programs, and student support services. Since 1991, he has served as vice president for student affairs at two institutions, and currently serves in this capacity at Arkansas Tech University.
Associations, awards, and education:
In addition to regular administrative duties, Dr. Biller has served on the national board of directors for NODA, the regional board of directors for NASPA IV-W, and the local board of directors for the Madison County Mental Health Association. He has developed and taught courses for the freshman year and was recognized with a Noel-Levitz Retention Excellence Award in 2003. He also is a member of the graduate faculty at Arkansas Tech University, teaching History and Philosophy of Higher Education. Dr. Biller holds a Ph.D. in higher education administration from the University of Kansas. |
