Gary is responsible for the development and execution of global marketing strategy, to include positioning, branding, demand creation, public relations, product marketing and strategic partnerships. He brings more than 20 years of experience in strategic positioning and marketing of enterprise software solutions to the company. Prior to Servigistics, Gary served as vice president of corporate marketing for Ariba, Inc., where he led the company�s global marketing efforts and successfully positioned Ariba as the high-valued business-to-business software leader. Before joining Ariba, Gary served as vice president of marketing at TRADEX Technologies, where he developed and implemented strategic market positioning that led to the successful merger between Ariba and TRADEX. Ariba acquired TRADEX for $5.6 billion in Ariba stock in March 2000, one of the largest software mergers to date. Prior to TRADEX, Gary served as vice president of marketing for Fortress Technologies and director of product marketing for AltaVista and spent 13 years with Digital Equipment Corporation, where he served in a variety of senior marketing communications and product marketing positions. Gary is a co-founder of the Atlanta Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Round Table and Chairman of the Brooks Family Foundation. He holds a bachelor�s degree from Northeastern University, a master's degree from Lesley College, and is a retired United States Army Reserve Officer. In 2006 The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) named Gary Georgia�s Technology Marketing Executive of the Year. |
