Gary Stahlberg is a Principal in ERS Group�s Emeryville office. Mr. Stahlberg�s engagements have encompassed a wide range of economic, antitrust, regulatory, and governance issues in a variety of industries. His areas of specialty include the evaluation of corporate strategy and the assessment of board and management performance, and he has considerable experience with public utility policy and regulation in network industries, particularly those for telecommunications, electricity, and natural gas. He has collaborated with noted economists and attorneys in the preparation of professional and academic journal articles and books, primarily on economic and regulatory matters. Previously, Mr. Stahlberg held the position of Research Manager with Telecom Policy and Analysis, a telecommunications industry research group associated with the law firm of Kellogg, Huber, Hansen, Todd & Evans. There, he educated and prepared corporate witnesses for the submission of testimony before federal courts and Congress and supervised the substantive review and interpretation of documents produced during legal discovery in several large-scale antitrust and merger review proceedings. Mr. Stahlberg holds MBA degrees from both Columbia University and the University of California at Berkeley. His B.A. degrees, in Philosophy and English Literature, are from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Mr. Stahlberg has also been awarded the Certificate of Director Education from the Corporate Directors Institute of the National Association of Corporate Directors. |
