Gary Thomson is senior vice president and chief information officer for Choice Hotels International (NYSE:CHH), where he is responsible for all aspects of Choice�s information systems including design, development, operations, infrastructure and support.
Mr. Thomson joined Choice Hotels in 1992. Formerly vice president, information systems technologies for Choice Hotels, he led the transformation of various systems and the development of Choice's Internet and web technology.
In addition, Mr. Thomson played an integral role in the creation and rollout of successful technologies to support Choice�s central reservation system, hotel property management systems, web sites, and Choice Privileges frequent guest program.
Mr. Thomson began his career as a design engineer with Stromberg-Carlson, a telephone systems manufacturer. Prior to joining Choice Hotels, Thomson spent 11 years with AT&T Bell Laboratories in various technical and management positions.
Mr. Thomson is a graduate of the University of Memphis with a degree in electrical engineering. |
