Gavan Egan is the vice president and general manager of Cybertrust's EMEA organization, where he is responsible for managing Cybertrust's sales and services operations in the EMEA regions.
Prior to Cybertrust, Mr. Egan was senior vice president, business development and professional services at Betrusted. Mr. Egan came to Betrusted from Baltimore Technologies which he joined in 2000. With Baltimore he developed and managed the Strategic Alliance program for the company and subsequently took over responsibility for sales in the Western Region of the US. He was responsible for the Baltimore Strategic Alliances program and sales, partner and business development operations in the Asia Pacific Region. Prior to joining Baltimore, Mr. Egan was vice president, technology for the Industrial Development Agency of Ireland where he was responsible for managing the recruitment and investment of US technology companies into Ireland.
Mr. Egan holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from Santa Clara University, a Diploma in Business Strategy from the Irish Management Institute and a degree in Electronic Engineering from Trinity College Dublin. |
