Gaya identifies, builds, and manages partnerships with local and regional businesses in Southern Jersey and Suburban Pennsylvania. Prior to RecycleBank, Gaya was a consultant at Philadelphia based Solutions for Progress. While at Solutions for Progress, she worked on the economic analysis of abandoned mine land reclamation, creation of urban farms and, cost benefit analysis of artificial reefs. During her down time, she volunteers with organizations that focus on educational issues in India and learns to play the Tabla (Indian Drums). Gaya and her husband live in New York and they are both avid Jazz and Bikram Yoga fans. Gaya has an MA in International Finance and Economics from Brandeis University and a BA in Marketing from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore India. |
