Gene Geiger, CEO
Position: CEO/President, Generation 4 Geiger owner/manager, Professional Experience: 34 years. Officially I started in 1973, but I was 13 when I started packing boxes in the sample room, then worked at countless jobs in our factory. What I Do Today: I spend a lot of time making sure the company has the right people doing the very best they can for our customers. And I am constantly listening to and talking with our sales persons, trying to understand what they need to do their work well. Accomplishments & Recognition: I've done some things for our industry and for our community. (Some are listed elsewhere on this site.) I am most proud, though, of how this family business has transitioned from Generation 3 to Generation 4 smoothly and remains today one of our industry's most respected firms. Outside Activities: Peter and I never let it go completely, but I do love to travel and capture what I see in photographs. I ski, hike, and bike. What Moves Me: There's nothing better than watching a person grow in skill and self-confidence. If I have done my job correctly, every Associate understands the company's culture, mission, and goals, then goes about their work with minimal interference from me. Generally, that's how it works, and I am proud of every one of them.
