Mrs. LaRobardier brings diverse background in foreign trade work, industrial management research and writing, and university teaching to bear on her legal practice. She focuses on complex litigation in Federal and State courts. She has extensive experience in franchise law including several class actions, and in intellectual property and internet contract law.
Mrs. LaRobardier�s background in foreign trade spawned her professional involvement in transnational legal issues. She has authored articles and participated in seminar panels on legal issues of import in transnational business. She has recently served, among other capacities, as chair of the International Law and Organizations Section of New Jersey State Bar Association. In prior years, she served as Section First Vice Chair of the International Litigation and Arbitration Committee and other Section Committees. For drafting and enactment of New Jersey�s Foreign Country Money-Judgment Recognition Act in 1997, Mrs. LaRobardier was awarded the coveted State Bar Distinguished Legislative Service Award. She is a contributing author to the initial, annual updates, and upcoming second edition of the authoritative compendium, New Jersey Federal Civil Procedure. She serves on the Board of Trustees of the Transatlantic Business Council, of which Bressler, Amery & Ross is a Premier Sponsor. In prior years, she was legal counsel to the Women�s Automotive Association International.
In addition to membership in the New Jersey State Bar Association, Mrs. LaRobardier is also a member of the New York State and American Bar Associations.
At Rutgers University School of Law, she was Editor and member of the Judicial Board of Rutgers Law Review, and member of the Jessup International Moot Court Competition Team. |
