Mr. Faux co-founded Caymus Partners as an investment banking firm exclusively focused on the middle market. Mr. Faux has more than 27 years of investment banking and operating experience. Prior to Caymus Partners, Mr. Faux spent over 15 years with major Wall Street investment banking firms including Bear Stearns & Co., Inc., Drexel Burnham Lambert Incorporated, and Prudential Securities, Inc. He assisted more than 70 middle-market companies in raising approximately $5.5 billion through private placements and public offerings. In addition, Mr. Faux served as an advisor to more than 100 companies in a variety of transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, sales, joint ventures and other strategic transactions. Mr. Faux has worked extensively in a variety of industries including business services, consumer, distribution, healthcare, manufacturing and technology. Mr. Faux also has significant operating experience as the former president of Orthodontic Centers of America, Inc. (OCA), a former NYSE company. Mr. Faux has also served on various boards of directors, including OCA and Coast Dental Services. Mr. Faux earned an M.B.A. in Finance from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a B.B.A. in Economics from The University of Georgia. |
