George Waterman is AstraZeneca's Senior Manager for IS Risk Management, responsible for the US Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery and IS Security programs. A certified CISSP, Mr. Waterman has been involved in Information Technology for the past 27 years. He has extensive experience in the public and private sectors in a variety of industries including; finance, health care, manufacturing and telecommunications. He has held positions in application development, systems analysis and design, project management, information security program management and business continuity and disaster recovery planning.Mr. Waterman's teams administer the US IS Security and Disaster Recovery programs, integrating risk mitigation into technical infrastructure and business process designs. They also manage processes that provide assurance of the confidentiality, availability and integrity of corporate information systems and intellectual property.
