Mr. Donnelly was elected to the board in October 2005. Born in Brazil, he began his career at Texaco in 1962, later joining Gulf Oil, where he served as vice president of the worldwide energy and minerals division, vice president of the Latin American division and head of their Washington , D.C. office. In 1997 he continued his career as vice chairman of the Americas for Spencer Stuart, an international executive search firm, and then in 2000 became managing partner of Lilo Ventures, a venture capital firm. Donnelly currently serves on the board of directors of the Greater Houston Partnership, the Institute of International Education, United Way of the Texas Gulf Coast, the John P. McGovern Museum of Health & Medical Science, the Mexican Institute and the Kipp Academy, and formerly served as president of the San Jacinto Museum of History and president and chief executive officer of the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He graduated from the business school at Georgetown University and completed the International Management Program at Columbia University. |
