George is a Managing Director of the Silverfern Group and brings over 20 years of Investment Banking experience to the Silverfern team. He has broad experience in providing Mergers and Acquisitions advice to both public and private company clients in a number of industries including Financial Services, Building Products, Business Services and Aerospace/Defense/Security.

Prior to joining Silverfern, George was a Managing Director at Citigroup Capital Strategies, a division of Citigroup devoted to Middle Market Mergers and Acquisitions. There he led the Citigroup banking effort focusing on the northeastern United States covering all industry sectors. Prior to Citigroup, George organized and was Head of the National Mergers & Acquisitions practice for FleetBoston Financial Corporation and also spearheaded FleetBoston�s M&A coverage of the Aerospace/Defense/Security industry.

Before FleetBoston, George was a Managing Director in the Global M&A group at Chase Securities Inc. for 6 years. At Chase, George founded the advisory group providing M&A advice and private capital raising services for the firm�s Middle Market clients. He was also Head of the Global Mergers and Acquisitions practice covering Financial Institutions.

Prior to Chase, George was an officer in Merrill Lynch�s Investment Banking Division, where he focused on Financial Institutions Clients, providing public and private equity and debt capital raising services as well as Mergers and Acquisitions advice.

George earned his Master of Business Administration Degree from Columbia Business School and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard College.
