George MacDonald serves as counsel in the firm�s HR Law Practice Group.
Labor and Employment Practice. George focuses his practice on counseling employers on employment discrimination, wage-hour, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), labor and other employment law related issues.
George has represented employers in litigation before federal and state courts and administrative agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Labor, various state human rights agencies and the National Labor Relations Board, and works with the group of attorneys specializing in the defense of employment discrimination class actions.
In General. George is a graduate of the University of Rochester and has his J.D. with distinction from the George Washington University Law School. While in law school, he was a managing editor of The George Washington Law Review. After law school, he served as a law clerk to the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.
George is admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court; the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, and the District of Columbia Courts. |
