George Dorin is senior vice president of corporate finance with Wolrige Mahon, an independent accounting firm with a specialty in corporate financing for pubic and private companies, financing acquisitions, divestitures and succession strategies, strategic planning and financial management services. A Chartered Accountant, George has more than 25 years of national and international experience in financial management, corporate finance, public offerings, strategic planning and business development with both private and publicly traded companies.
Previously, George was CFO and corporate secretary for Norsat International, Inc., an intelligent satellite solutions company traded on the TSX and OTCBB exchanges and served on the board of directors and was chair of the audit committee for Cantronic Systems, a Coquitlam, BC-based technology company. Before this, he was CFO and corporate secretary for a publicly traded wireless technology company with offices in Canada, the US and Great Britain. George�s career includes public accounting roles with Price Waterhouse and Ernst and Whinney (now KPMG) and an executive director position with Boston Pizza, a large international franchisor with sales of more than $100 million.
