Prior to joining PCI in January 2003, Mr. Hechtman was the vice president of sales and vice president of Administration for West Coast electronics retailer Good Guys, Inc. He had previously served as senior vice president of OfficeMax Stores, Inc., having responsibility for the 335 store western division, which included the integration of the acquired 100-store Biz Mart retail chain. During his 30-year retail career, Mr. Hechtman has had significant experience in both large and smaller regional retail organizations, and has experience in store sales, store operations, strategic planning and merchandising. He possesses in-depth knowledge of all phases of retail-related real estate market planning and related processes. Mr. Hechtman has also provided executive-suite consulting services to the retail industry while working as a senior consultant with leading retail consulting firm, McMillan Doolittle, and served as general manager of merchandising for Circuit City Stores, Inc. |
