George Kao joined Pericom as Vice President of Operations in October 2006. Mr. Kao has over twenty years experience working in the global technology industry. He began his career at National Semiconductor in 1984 in the Bipolar logic group before moving to Weitek and Integrated Circuit System in a Product/Test Engineering Management capacity. After that Mr. Kao served in various senior positions at Synaptics Altima (later sold to Broadcom in 2000) and Foveon where he headed up the manufacturing team for imaging products and integrated circuits before joining Orient Semiconductor Electronics Philippines (OSEP) in 2003 as Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Kao holds a BSEE form California State Polytechnic University. |
