George Kassabgi is the president and CEO of Bit9, Inc., Prior to Bit9, George was Vice President Engineering and General Manager, Application Security Infrastructure with BEA Systems. Previous to his role as BEA�s GM of the Application Security Infrastructure business, George ran Engineering for BEA�s flagship application server product WebLogic, where he was responsible for the launch of the WebLogic Integration and WebLogic Enterprise Security products. Prior to his tenure with BEA, George held executive positions with Progress Software where he ran the Apptivity business unit and launched the company�s award-winning Java message server, SonicMQ. Additionally, Mr. Kassabgi holds a variety of patents on Progress SmartObject technology. George�s technology experience encompasses seven years in the Java application server market and five years in the GUI/Client/Server market.
