George Krauter - VP, Public Relations George E. Krauter, VP Public Relations The originator of the concept that became known as integrated supply, George Krauter is Vice President, Public Relations for Storeroom Solutions, Inc. Frequently spotted at industry events with Storeroom Solutions clients and at various industry functions, George brings a wealth of insight and hands-on experience to indirect materials cost recovery methods. George began his career in his father s hardware store in Philadelphia and subsequently participated in management capacities in all disciplines of the indirect materials supply chain. Following his tenure as Vice President, Sales for a large industrial supply distributor, George co-founded the first integrated supply company in the US: Industrial Systems Associates (ISA). His focus allowed industrial consumers to recover costs that they assume when distributing MRO products internally. Moving beyond traditional distribution, the company provided value-added services that eliminated paperwork and redundant inventory in the process. Serving as Executive Vice President following the sale of his then multi-million dollar company, George subsequently joined Storeroom Solutions as sales consultant, then as Vice President, Public Relations. George has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Temple University and an MBAA in Sales & Marketing. An authority on innovative methods in distribution, he has been published in Modern Distribution Management and Purchasing Magazine. He has held seminars on distribution cost recovery at MIT, Duke, in Oslo and Dubai and has served on the President s panel for the Conference Board in New York City. George and his wife Joyce live in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. All of their grandkids live within eating distance.
