As General Counsel/Vice President of Legal & Regulatory Affairs for Fleming Pharmaceuticals, George Love manages all of the company's legal and regulatory activities, as well as the Company's Laboratory Services and Quality Assurance departments. As Fleming's in-house legal counsel, Mr. Love is responsible for all aspects of the organization's legal work, including commercial contracts, intellectual property, litigation and more. He is actively involved in establishing and implementing the company's product and regulatory development strategies, and is a member of the company's executive management committee.
Mr. Love has extensive experience in working with start-up life sciences companies. "Fleming is a dynamic company and offers the same type of entrepreneurial opportunities," he says. Mr. Love joined Fleming Pharmaceuticals in 1999. Before coming to Fleming, he served as Vice President at CardioMend and as a manager and in-house counsel at Sigma Chemical Company, both located in St. Louis.
Mr. Love earned his juris doctorate from the University of California's Hastings College of Law in San Francisco, and a bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame. When not working at Fleming, he enjoys skiing, golfing and spending time with his family.
