Mr. Palmer brings over 30 years of semiconductor operations, development and product management experience. Most recently, Mr. Palmer worked as Vice President of Operations at PortalPlayer, Inc., most notable for providing music player chip controllers for Apple's iPod products and recently acquired by NVIDIA. Prior to that, Mr. Palmer was Vice President of Operations and Manufacturing at wireless company Bermai, Inc., and earlier at Quantum3D, Inc., as VP of Operations and Product Management. Before working with startup companies, Mr. Palmer worked 23 years at National Semiconductor and Fairchild Semiconductor managing operations, development and marketing for high volume product lines including PC Products, Ethernet Systems, Digital Video and Microprocessors. Mr. Palmer received his degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California, Berkeley.
