By the time George Richeson joined Einstein Industries as vice president of sales, he had twenty-six years of experience in medical marketing, during which he achieved consistently remarkable results. Mr. Richeson was formerly southeast division manager for Alcon Surgical, a division of Alcon Laboratories, where he led the company to record revenue numbers. During his tenure at Alcon, Mr. Richeson was responsible for increasing sales from $150,000 to approximately $22 million. In the years that followed, Mr. Richeson had similar success at other health care companies, including Coburn Optical, Intermedics Intraocular, Innovative Surgical Products, and Allergan. Mr. Richeson was a founding member of DGR, Inc., a company that specializes in the manufacture of intraocular lenses. During his time at DGR, he sat on the board of directors and was essential to the company�s retention of such prominent clients as Emory University, Health South Hospitals, and the Medical University of South Carolina. Mr. Richeson is also the founder and owner of Richeson and Associates, a laser rental firm catering to the plastic surgery, ophthalmic, and dermatology health care markets. He holds two medical surgical patents. Mr. Richeson completed his undergraduate degree in industrial management, as well as his MBA, at the University of Alabama. |
