George Whitley brings 20 years of experience in the financial services industry specifically in the areas of financial planning and business performance analysis to Fintura.
As Vice President of Finance, Mr. Whitley is accountable for Fintura�s Business Performance and Analysis function, which includes corporate strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, portfolio modeling and valuation analysis. He is also responsible for the company�s risk management, compliance and controller functions.
Prior to Fintura, Mr. Whitley was the Director of Finance for the Card Management group at InfiStar, a subsidiary of InfiCorp Holdings, Inc. At InfiStar, he was responsible for all financial planning and analysis activities for the company�s owned and managed portfolios. During his tenure, he directed the valuation analysis supporting InfiStar�s purchase of over 100 credit card portfolios with associated loan balances in excess $600 million. He was also responsible for yield management, developing specific pricing strategies and treatments for new account and retention campaigns, targeted repricing efforts and newly purchased accounts.
Prior to joining InfiCorp, Mr. Whitley worked for the Prudential Bank and Trust Company. At Prudential, he held various management positions, including Vice President of Management Information Systems, Vice President of Management Accounting and Financial Systems and Assistant Vice President of Budgeting and Forecasting.
Mr. Whitley began his career with the Securities Industry Automation Corporation as a business analyst responsible for all trading systems at the New York and American Stock Exchanges. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Arizona State University. |
