George Zydel Jr. joined Eastern Bank in May of 2007.
Professional Experience
Prior to coming to Eastern, Mr. Zydel was with Fidelity Investments for 11 years. There he served as Senior Investment Manager with Strategic Advisers and was responsible for managing over $1 billion in high net worth client assets. He also worked as a Relationship Officer with Portfolio Advisory Services and an Account Manager for Fidelity Institutional Brokerage Group, working with senior management of financial institutions on developing and running their securities business.
Prior to serving at Fidelity, Mr. Zydel worked as a Consultant Relations Liaison and Sales Associate with John Hancock Funds Institutional Investments. Here he focused on maintaining portfolio information and presenting various investment strategies to the consultant community.
Education
Mr. Zydel has over 17 years industry experience and is a Registered Investment Advisor. He received his BBA from Eastern Kentucky University, is a member of The Institute of Certified Bankers and is a candidate in the Boston University CFP program. |
