Georgia Quenby is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery UK LLP, based in its London office. She specializes in restructuring, refinancing, funding turnarounds and acquisitions, asset-based lending and mezzanine finance. She has particular experience in the retail, manufacturing, oil and gas, power, defence, insurance and real estate sectors. She has been involved in multi-jurisdictional transactions in the UK, Asia, Australasia, the US and continental Europe for more than a decade.

Advising on complex projects including the Skynet 5 PFI project to provide secure military satellite communications to the Ministry of Defence, a very large PPP outsourcing for the British Broadcasting Corporation and the Ministry of Defence's air to air refuelling project
Advising offshore mezzanine funds including a fund on its purchase of mezzanine tranches of European hotel-backed acquisition debt and numerous healthcare financings and refinancings
Advising hedge funds on financings and equity stakes in various vehicles
Advising directors on directors' duty issues arising from technical or actual insolvency
Providing technical advice on financial assistance and security
