Have responsibilities in case management and trial preparation; perform research assignments and draft reports summarizing results; draft court documents and correspondence; organize and analyze documents in medical malpractice, products liability, and commercial litigation cases; liaison with opposing and outside counsel, court personnel, and clients; investigate facts and background information for lawsuits; prepare trial documents and exhibits; manage complicated discovery schedules; and summarize depositions. Knowledge of various computer software packages and Internet research.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE
Former instructor of English, University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Henderson State University, Dallas Baptist College, San Antonio College, University of Texas, and University of Arkansas. At UALR wrote department placement tests and exit tests for freshman composition, drafted writing exam used for college graduation requirement, and served on planning committee for writing laboratory.
