Gerald D. Mintz is President and CEO of PerTrac Financial Solutions. Appointed in September 2005, Mintz has over 20 years of experience in the B2B information services and enterprise software industries, primarily in the financial services markets.
Prior to joining PFS, Gerry was President of Executive Programs at Gartner, Inc., a $100M business unit serving the technology information needs of senior IT executives. Prior to Gartner, he was Executive Vice President and Global Head of Enterprise Solutions for Reuters, Inc., responsible for the global business in market data feeds and real-time enterprise information distribution software. Before joining Reuters, Mintz was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fame Information Services, Inc., a venture-backed analytical software and information company serving the financial, economic, and energy industries. From 1993 to 1999, Mintz held senior executive positions at Thomson Financial, the $1.2 billion global provider of professional information services that is part of the Thomson Corporation (NYSE:TOC). While at Thomson Financial, he ran several business units and led the corporate acquisitions program. Prior to Thomson, Gerry held senior Executive positions at EJV Partners and Telerate.
Mintz was awarded a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto in 1985. He graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1974 with a BSEE in Electrical Engineering. He currently serves on the advisory boards of Milestone Venture Partners, an early stage fund, and Vhayu, a provider of high-performance real-time software solutions to the financial services industry. He is also a Director and Audit Committee member of I-Trax Health Management Solutions, Inc. (Amex: DMX). |
