Dr. Gerald Brown is Professor of Operations Research at the Naval Postgraduate School and a Founding Director and Director of Technology of INSIGHT. His contributions to computational techniques in mathematical modeling have received wide recognition. He has had extensive consulting experience with large U.S. corporations and the federal government in the application of state-of-the-art mathematical programming techniques to a wide variety of problems. Dr. Brown has been a finalist for the Edelman Award for the world's best application of management science to business problems three times, 1982, 1986, and 1994.
Dr. Brown earned his Ph.D. in management from the University of California, Los Angeles. He has published widely in top professional journals on optimization, reliability, military operations research, and management science. |
