Gerald Chapman, served from 1990-2001 as the Superintendent of Schools for the Palatine-Schaumburg Township High School District 211, the largest high school district in Illinois. After he retired from that role he served as Associate Dean in the College of Education, Roosevelt University from 2001-2005. He has been affiliated with HYA as a Senior Associate and Interim Chief Executive Officer (9/06-12/06). He currently serves as a member of the Board of Education for Community Consolidated School District 15 (Palatine).

Dr. Chapman completed his B.S. in Education at Northern Illinois University, his M. A. in Mathematics at Northwestern University, and his Ed.D. in School Administration at Indiana University
