Gerry Jones practiced law in New York and Connecticut for 40 years. He retired in 2005. Jones was a Partner in the law firm of Richards & O�Neil, LLP. This firm represented the Company from 1982 through April 30, 2001. He also served as Counsel to Shipman & Goodwin, LLP, who represented the Company until 2004 and as Managing Partner of Corporate Governance Advisors, LLC, a consulting firm, specializing in best practices in governance. Gerry is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Vermont Law School and was recently elected to the Board of Trustees of The Nature Conservancy of Vermont.
For over a dozen years, Jones served as a director of several mutual funds sponsored by Morgan Stanley Investment Management, including the Morgan Stanley Institutional Fund, Inc. He now serves as Chairman of the Board of the Barrett Growth Funds, sponsored by Legg Mason.
