Gerard Gleeson joined the company as Chief Technology Officer in 2001. He graduated in 1988 with degrees in Computer Engineering and Mathematics from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland. He later received a Masters degree in Computer Engineering from the college and in 2007 received CISSP certification. He brings twenty years of experience in international banking, systems programing and computer security. He has worked extensively with OpenVMS, Hewlett-Packard's (formerly Compaq and Digital Equipment Corporation's) proprietary operating system that runs on VAX, Alpha and Itanium. Customers using these systems are widespread and include the banking, government, manufacturing, health care, telecommunications and educational markets. In addition to his knowledge of the computer industry, he is a photographer, audiophile, videophile, musician and movie buff. He's very capable of steering us in the right direction in the areas of sound and video, and has been a member of the Audio Engineering Society since 1993. |
