Gerd Tenzer, who joined our Board of Directors in August 2003, brings 35 years of telecommunications industry experience to ECI Telecom, including senior positions at Deutsche Telekom. Mr. Tenzer joined Deutsche Telekom in 1990 where he served as Deputy Chairman of the board of management and, from 2002 to the end of 2004, as special representative to the chairman of the board of management for competition and telecommunications policy. Prior to this, he worked at the German Federal Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and for 10 years, headed the Ministry's Policy section. Mr. Tenzer is currently Vice Chairman of the Board of Ses Global SA, a Luxembourg-based satellite company, Vice Chairman of the Board of EUTEX European Telco Exchange AG, Germany and board member of Sutter GmbH, Germany. Mr. Tenzer holds a bachelors degree in telecommunications and a degree of diplom-ingenieur, both from the Technical University in Aachen. |
