German Su�rez Ch�vez, Member of the Audit Committee. He is an economist who was employed by the Central Bank from 1964 to 1990. From 1979 to 1980, Mr. Su�rez represented Brazil and Peru at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and from 1981 to 1980 he served as an Official of the Ministry of Economy and Finance. Mr. Su�rez served as Chairman of Banco de la Nacion from 1990 to 1992 and Chairman of the Central Bank of Peru from 1992 to 2001. He has also served as a representative of Banco de la Naci�n at Bladex, Extebandes and Arlabank, a member of the board of directors of Latin American Reserves Fund, and currently is member of the board of directors of La Pampilla Refinery (Relapasa) and Credicorp Ltd. From 1993 to 2001, he served as Governor of the IMF and Alternate Governer of the Inter-American Development. From 2000 to 2001 Mr. Su�rez served as Chairman of the IMF G-24. Mr. Su�rez graduated from UNMSM with a B.S. in Economics in 1965 and received an M.A. in Economics from Columbia University in 1969.
