Gerri co-founded the Magee Resource Group as Management Recruiters of Shreveport, Inc. in 1991 and created the division dedicated to the Healthcare industry. Shortly after, MRG placed its first healthcare professional, a psychiatric program director for a hospital in South Louisiana. Over the last decade, MRG's Healthcare Practice has grown tremendously and annually attains Pacesetter Status (top 10% across MRI).

Gerri, individually, has built a reputation as one of the premier retained search consultants in her niche - executive search for major metropolitan hospitals in the Southeast and Midwestern United States. Through Gerri's 10 plus years of dedicated service to the CEOs and COOs of her clients, she has been recognized with many awards for excellence in client service and top production. Gerri, known for her ability to analyze complex situations and develop innovative solutions, presently mentors the healthcare group while spearheading expanded responsibilities over all MRG operations.
