Gerry O'Beirne, CPA, MS, is a Partner at Goldstein Golub Kessler LLP. Mr. O'Beirne specializes in corporate (federal, state and local) taxation, providing tax compliance, tax planning, tax advisory and various regulatory consulting services to the corporate sector, including representing corporations before regulatory bodies. Mr. O'Beirne's area of expertise includes advising both inbound and outbound international businesses on a wide range of tax compliance, tax planning and tax advisory issues. This includes tax services to foreign entities doing business in the U.S., as well as U.S. corporations doing business overseas. He also works with expatriates on their financial management and tax issues, including pre-departure and subsequent return tax planning and compliance. In keeping with his specialty in international taxation, Mr. O'Beirne is regularly asked to speak before professional associations on international tax matters. He is a member of the International Committee of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as on the Tax Committee of Nexia International, an international affiliation of accounting and tax firms. Mr O'Beirne earned his B.S. in accounting from Herbert H. Lehman College and his M.S. in taxation from Bernard M. Baruch College of the City University of New York. |
