Prior to joining Kenyon & Kenyon, Dr. Pfaffenbach worked at a New York law firm where she participated in litigation of pharmaceutical, biotech and chemical patent matters, product liability of pharmaceuticals, trade secrets, antitrust and general litigation matters. Before becoming an attorney, she was a scientific advisor at the same firm, gaining experience in patent analysis for opinions and litigation, expert depositions and trial work. Before joining the legal profession, Dr. Pfaffenbach was an academic research scientist in immunology and the study of blood.
Dr. Pfaffenbach received her B.S. in Chemistry from Wagner College, and an M.S. in Pathology and Ph.D. in Basic Medical Sciences, specializing in Immunology, from NYU. Dr. Pfaffenbach received her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, with a concentration in Intellectual Property. She also earned certification in management and business organization from the NYU Business Institute. |
